MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC at Eicma 2016

Produced just in 350 units, on the basis of Dragster RR and in collaboration with the RepartoCorse, the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC presented at EICMA 2016 is intended for enthusiasts who appreciate exclusive bikes and explosive performance.
A lightweight streetfighter, with compact dimensions and performance at the top of its class, the 800 RC Dragster takes up all the racing experience of the brand acquired in the Superbike and the Supersport World Championships.
The aesthetic evil is set against the charm and the lightness of the materials used. The abundance of carbon fiber makes this bike a perfect example of craftsmanship transported to production in series. Racing assembly is felt in every detail: a red tubular frame, a front fender, a windshield, a rear tail and racing style forged wheels.
The chassis has a traditional structure: front upside-down forks and an adjustable Sachs monoshock coupled to a single-sided swingarm at the rear.
The Brembo braking system consists of two front 320 mm discs with 4-piston radial calipers and a single 220 mm steel disc with a 2-piston caliper at the rear, managed by the Bosch 9 Plus ABS System with RLM.
The three-cylinder engine has a capacity of 800 cc capable of delivering 140 hp at 13,100 rpm and 86 Nm of max. torque at 10,100 rpm, able to accelerate the bike to the speed of 245 Km/h and give emotions thanks to the roaring sound coming out of the iconic MV Agusta three-pipe exhaust system.
Sophisticated electronics based on the Motor & Vehichle Integrated Control System allows the rider to exploit the Dragster 800 RC with four riding configurations, while for those who love strong emotions there is the Quickshifter EAS 2.0 permitting extremely rapid gear changes and the ability to turn off the traction control.
