Moto Morini Corsaro 1200 ZZ at Eicma 2016: naked Made In Italy

Inspired by the historic Corsarino ZZ 1965, the sportiest model of its age range, the new Moto Morini Corsaro 1200 ZZ is a Made-in-Italy trademark. In fact, Italian companies deliver 99% of its component parts.
Designed by Rodolfo Frascoli and based on the steel trellis frame, the new model consists of numerous carbon fiber parts such as fairing, front mudguard and saddle, which resulted in its weight reduction (192 Kg).
The lighting system is now fully LED; turn signals are in solid aluminum, while a brand new Zard exhaust system is with a double-chromed terminal.
The front end adopts an adjustable Mupo fork that allows a 135 mm travel. At the rear, there is a single adjustable shock absorber. Special feature of the front fork is optional DLC (Diamond like carbon) coating of the legs that increases smoothness. The 17-inch wheels in forged aluminum alloy have tires made from award-winning Pirelli Diablo Rosso III dual compound.
The braking system consists of two front floating discs of 320 mm in diameter and a semi-radial 16/19 pump with Brembo radial four-pistons calipers and a single rear 220 mm disc with a two-piston caliper. The whole system is managed by ABS Bosch 9.1 two-way MP.
The two-cylinder engine has the capacity of 1200 cc, with APTC clutch and dual overhead camshafts, capable of delivering 135 hp and conforms to the Euro 4 standards.
Digital racing styled AIM instrumentation has a TFT 5” display configurable by the driver who can choose between different views.
The standard equipment also includes a 12V socket to power a GPS navigator, while a series of Rhizome accessories made specifically to customize new bikes is optional.
