WhiteVoid light sculptures – The balance between art, design and engineering
Light has always been a mainstay of architectural design, but only recently, due to emergence of a new modern design has become a source of inspiration and a means to an exciting ethereal and surreal atmospheres. The observer is immersed in the new atmosphere under strong emotional impact, the light moves and a real sculpture of light appears.
In Berlin, it was exactly this model developed by WhiteVoid company due to the victory of this idea of the creative team and also interaction design, a wonderful fusion of technology and art. The research concerns the implementation of interactive installations for exhibitions, fairs and other events, skillfully selecting equipment, decorations, and the use of complex components of electronic equipment.
For Philips during the exhibition Euroluce (Evrosvet) and the International Furniture Fair in Milan “Living Sculpture” was created in 2013, interactive lighting system that created a real ceiling light. Modular elements – OLED technology, three-dimensional motion, animation, and endless variations of color, are controlled from a remote  control station, and through the application for tablet and mobile phone.
“Fluidic Sculpture” was created for Hyundai during Design Week in Milan in 2013. The viewer is immersed in a cloud of light formed by 12,000 light bulbs and 8 laser projectors. Perspective changes constantly, and even more with the audience moving in the endless game of movements.
In November 2014 – the work was more large and impressive, to mark the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, “Lichtgrenze” ( “The Border of Lights”), a long series of luminous balls of 8000 crossed the entire city of Berlin covering a distance of 15.3 km, following the ancient path of the wall, and underlining the dramatic fall.
